Much as we love them all, we don’t make a Côte-Rôtie
Syrah, a Barossa Shiraz, or a Viognier from Condrieu. And while
we adore Cold Heaven Viognier from California, Tarawara Shiraz from
Yarra Valley, and Hermitage Syrah from the Rhone… they’ve
all been done. Instead, we make wine that is singularly, identifiably
from the Okanagan Valley. Not only do we make no apologies for that,
we exult in it.
Our style is our own and true to our terroir.
We want our wines not just to rival the best the world can produce,
but to be the best in the world and in a style unique to Naramata,
Canada. It’s a crazy, Quixotic goal- and we wouldn’t
have it any other way.
